📌 Abhinav Mohan Delkar v. The State of Maharashtra, 2025 SC
The Chief Justice of India BR Gavai and Justice K Vinod Chandran held that mere harassment, without a direct and proximate link, is insufficient to attract liability under Section 306 IPC / Section 108 BNS.

📌 Vihaan Kumar v. State of Haryana, 2025 SC
The Supreme Court held the arrest unconstitutional as the appellant was not personally informed of the grounds under Article 22(1). The Court also directed Haryana to frame guidelines to prevent such human rights violations.

📌 Devendra Kumar v. the State (NCT Of Delhi) & Anr, 2025 SC
The Supreme Court has held that ‘obstruction’ under Section 186 of the IPC is not limited to physical force and includes any unlawful act—such as threats, intimidation, or non-cooperation—that hinders a public servant from discharging their lawful duties.

📌 IN RE : ‘City Hounded By Strays, Kids Pay Price’ , 2025 SC
The Supreme Court has held that feeding stray dogs in public places is prohibited and must be done only at designated feeding spots to be created by municipal authorities.

📌 X v. The State, 2025 Telengana HC
Telangana High Court quashed proceedings under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, ruling that caste-based harassment occurring within private domestic settings does not satisfy the statutory requirement of occurring in “public view.”

📌 Nabha Power Limited v. Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and Others, 2025 SC
The Supreme Court held that government decisions, clarifications, and press releases without legislative or statutory backing do not qualify as a “Change in Law” under Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), as they are merely administrative instruments and not legally enforceable changes.

📌 Smt. Archana Patil v. State of Karnataka, 2025 Karnataka HC
The Court held that the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (POCSO Act) is gender-neutral, its provisions under Sections 4 and 6 apply equally to men and women, and therefore the petition seeking quashment of proceedings stands dismissed.

📌 Vandana & Ors. v. Keshav & Ors, 2025 SC
The Supreme Court has held that the Court will examine whether Merchant Navy officers’ foreign-earned income credited to Indian bank accounts is exempt from income tax under the Income Tax Act, 1961.

📌 Sanjit Singh Salwan & Ors. v. Sardar Inderjit Singh Salwan, 2025 SC
The Supreme Court ruled that parties cannot take contradictory stands by first accepting arbitration awards then later challenging their validity.

📌 Pernod Ricard India Private Limited & Another v. Karanveer Singh Chhabra, 2025 SC
has held that the Trade Marks Act, 1999 does not lay down rigid criteria to assess whether a mark is likely to deceive or cause confusion. Instead, each case must be decided on its own facts.

📌 Ajmera Shyam v. Smt. Kova Laxmi & Ors, 2025 SC
The Supreme Court holding that mere failure to disclose assets does not constitute corrupt practice if not of substantial character.
It will not make the acceptance of the nomination improper, thus invalidating the election.

📌 Anil Kumar Ojha v. The State, 2025 Madras HC
The Court ruled that Resolution Professionals appointed under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016(IBC) are public servants under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, disagreeing with the Delhi High Court’s view and directing the IBBI to consider sanction for prosecution.
