Supreme Court revives CBI’s appeal in Jogi murder conspiracy case, dismisses state & victim’s pleas
The Supreme Court dismissed the State’s and the victim’s appeals as non-maintainable, following the precedent in Lalu Prasad Yadav. However, it condoned the CBI’s significant delay in filing its appeal, allowing the central agency to challenge the acquittal on merits before the High Court.
