Rectification of deed. Section 26 of specific relief Act.
- Every contract can be rectified by the parties themselves by executing rectification deed or correction deed.
- If parties do not agree, the mistake can be corrected through court.
- However it shall be seen that the interests of third party are not adversely affected.
- Every mistake can be corrected by the court which has occurred in a contract due to the mistake of the party. 2023(161) ALR 532
