Supreme Court quashes rape case, calls it “Consensual Relationship gone sour”
The Supreme Court quashed the FIR and chargesheet, ruling the long-term relationship was consensual and not based on a false promise of marriage from the outset. The Court found that converting a failed relationship into a rape case was an abuse of the legal process.
