Supreme Court upholds conviction in minor’s kidnap & rape case.
The Supreme Court upheld the conviction, ruling that the minor victim’s testimony was credible and reliable (“sterling witness”). It found that the medical evidence did not rule out sexual assault, and since the victim was a minor, the question of consent was irrelevant.
