The Family Court has no jurisdiction to decide the question of the appointment of the guardian about the property of the minor.
If an application is there for joint prayer for appointment of guardian for person and property of minor even that applications to be decided by District Judge and not by Family Court.
Section 14 of GW Act provides that if two applications are simultaneously pending for appointment of guardian the High Court can transfer either of the case to another court.
High Court can invoke provisions of section 24 of CPC to transfer one case to another District Court having jurisdiction.
