Supreme Court slams Tripura Govt — can’t change recruitment rules mid-game!
The Supreme Court held that the State of Tripura cannot cancel an ongoing recruitment process based on a new executive policy. Executive instructions cannot override statutory rules, and changing selection criteria after the process has begun is arbitrary and violates candidates’ legitimate expectations.
