“Supreme Court orders reinstatement of colour-blind driver with alternate job”
The Supreme Court ruled that the termination of a colour-blind driver without offering alternate employment violated binding settlements and constitutional rights. The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) was directed to reinstate the appellant in a suitable non-driving role with full pay protection and 25% back wages.
